OptimoGov is a product of Programus Ltd. We have built facility, event and resource management for councils and local government organizations since 2004, across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ireland. North America is our newest market and we are entering it with a regional partner rather than a sales office.
We are a local government specialist. We do not sell to gyms, clubs or private venues, and that focus is deliberate.

What we actually are
A local government specialist, not a recreation vendor with a public sector page.
Almost every competitor in this market started somewhere else: a gym product, a club product, a scheduling tool, and adapted it. We started with councils, which is why residency tests, delegated approval, open meeting publication, seasonal ground allocation and cost recovery reporting are core rather than customization.
- Public sector conditions are the product. A fee schedule with effective dates, an insurance requirement per facility class, a deposit policy, a delegation of authority and a residency test are not edge cases for us. They are the specification.
- Twelve business areas, not one. Because a council owns a library, a city hall, a theater, a marina, a fleet of meeting rooms and a solid waste operation, not only a recreation center.
- We do not sell to private operators. No gyms, no clubs, no commercial venues. It keeps the roadmap honest, because every feature request comes from a government.
- We publish what we do not have. A certification ledger with the gaps in it, an FAQ that opens by saying we have no North American customers yet, and pricing on the website.
How we got here

- Deployments across Australia and New Zealand, from metropolitan councils to rural municipalities, expanding from single-facility booking into seasonal ground allocation, programs, ticketing and community services.
- United Kingdom and Ireland
- Expansion into UK and Irish local authorities, including Cyber Essentials certification under the UK government scheme.
- Certification
- ISO 27001 for the platform and its operating organization, SOC 2 Type II, SOC 1 Type I and PCI DSS, with quarterly independent penetration testing.
- 2026
- North American entry, delivered with Invorg and MuniLogic from Philadelphia and London, Ontario, with US and Canadian Azure regions selected at contract.
What we will not claim
The list is short and we would rather you read it here.
- We have no North American municipal customers yet. This is the first answer in our homepage FAQ. We offer reference calls with comparable agencies overseas instead of implying a domestic base.
- We are not on GovRAMP or FedRAMP. Not in any status. GovRAMP is not currently held, and FedRAMP is not on our roadmap because we sell to state, local and municipal government.
- We hold no cooperative purchasing contract. No Sourcewell, OMNIA Partners, NASPO ValuePoint, BuyBoard or TIPS award.
- Bulk waste and watercraft are new to this market. Both are in production with local government customers elsewhere. Neither has a North American reference yet, and we will demonstrate them against your own routes and sites rather than a sample.
